    Role Overview

    As a Commercial Analyst, you will play a critical role in analysing operational data and processes, identifying insights, and providing recommendations to deliver growth. You will also understand customer needs and usage to provide insights for future product development decisions. You will report to our COO and work closely with senior management, sales, growth, and operations teams to ensure that commercial decisions are data-driven and aligned with our business objectives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Analyze marketplace operational data to provide insights that drive business performance

    • Derive insights that drive decision-making across product, go-to-market, and operational teams

    • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and models to track KPIs and commercial performance

    • Identify opportunities to improve coverage, processes, and customer profitability

    • Provide data-driven recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic decisions

    • Collaborate with teams to improve data collection, reporting accuracy, and efficiency

    • Understand customer needs and usage patterns

    Skills & Experience Required

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset

    • Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

    • Experience with basic sequel code

    • Ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights effectively

    • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and databases is an advantage

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

    • Experience in customer research and how to understand customer usage patterns

They work with operators who don’t currently use Cordic, to understand their unique needs as a business and to put together proposals showing how Cordic can help solve their needs, and ultimately to close sales and increase the number of operators who use Cordic.

    KEY OUTCOMES

    Increase the market share of Cordic by selling and onboarding new fleets onto our systems

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and qualify new business opportunities within your territory using a variety of sales tactics, including cold calling, networking, and inbound marketing leads.

    • Client Relationship Management: Engage with key stakeholders to develop deep, consultative relationships. Provide ongoing support and guidance throughout the sales process to ensure client satisfaction.

    • Sales Presentations & Demonstrations: Deliver compelling, customized product presentations and software demos to potential clients, addressing their unique business challenges and needs.

    • Negotiation & Closing: Lead contract negotiations, including pricing discussions, terms, and final agreements, with a focus on closing deals quickly and efficiently while ensuring a win-win outcome for both parties.

    • Territory Management: Own the sales cycle in your designated region, from prospecting to post-sale follow-up. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline in the CRM system.

    • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with product, customer success, and training teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and help tailor solutions to meet client needs.

    • Market and Competitive Intelligence: Monitor trends within the industry and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and refine sales strategies.

    REQUIRED SKILLS

    • Industry Knowledge: deep understanding of how private hire operators work, the challenges they face, and the ways in which private hire operators can grow and succeed in the market environment they face today

    • Sales Expertise: Proven track record of success in field-based B2B sales, with a strong ability to close deals and achieve targets. Experience in software, SaaS, or technology sales is a plus.

    • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex solutions in a clear, persuasive, and engaging manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.

    • Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage pricing discussions, contract terms, and objections to close deals effectively.

    • Relationship Building: Ability to develop long-term, strategic relationships with senior-level decision-makers and influencers in client organizations.

    • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable discussing software solutions and their technical benefits. Quick to learn new technologies and translate them into business value for clients.

    • Self-Motivated & Results-Driven: Highly self-motivated with a strong drive to exceed sales goals. Ability to manage a flexible work schedule and operate independently.

    • Pipeline Management: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize activities, manage a sales pipeline, and track multiple opportunities simultaneously, in an industry where sales cycles may be very long.
