Enhanced reporting and admin dashboard
A comprehensive payment dashboard allows you to keep track of all card payments, enabling you to identify potentially fraudulent activity, generate reports and statistics, and much more.
The dashboard gives you a range of options for handling and managing card payments. It allows you to manage customer card payments separately from account payments, helping with accounting and avoiding confusion with HMRC.
- Record and report jobs paid by credit card separately from account jobs;
- Pay drivers for cashless jobs separately than account jobs, with the option to pay drivers for cashless jobs as soon as the payments are cleared, daily, weekly, or at any other interval (*available on Stripe only);
- Set up unique commission rates for cashless payments, for example, using cash commission rates plus charges to cover credit card processing fees;
What are Stripe’s transaction fees?
We have been able to secure preferential rates with Stripe, and below is an indication of the fees. Please note those fees can change and go up as well as down and the list below is not a guarantee, it is just a guide, and we aim to keep it up to date.
However, other payment providers charge significantly higher rates, so you can use the fees below to easily estimate how much you can save if you move to Stripe today.

How does this solution help me avoid problems with HMRC?
Our Stripe payment platform allows us to process, record, and report passenger card payments separately than other credit card payments (such as account work), which is important because account work is a different service that fleets offer to drivers, and that has tax and emplyment implications.
Employment Law
Account customers are tendered by the operators and subcontracted to drivers, with rates decided and set entirely by the operator, reducing the drivers’ opportunity to earn more.
Therefore, if credit card work is mixed with account work, it could seem as if the operator exerts much more control over the driver’s earnings than they actually are.
VAT Investigation
If HMRC sees card payments as account payments, then HMRC will expect VAT to be paid by the operator on such payments. Therefore, it is important to demonstrate that cashless customer payments are different from account work.
